"It was a BRILLIANT holiday, we all loved it. Given all that we did and saw, it felt a lot longer than two weeks – possibly the best family holiday ever. The itinerary was great, with a really nice mix of camps and scenery, so eight days in the bush didn’t feel too much. Connections were slick, short and efficient, ground staff were super helpful. Having the majority of time in conservancies rather than national parks was absolutely right – we needed the variety of walks, night drives, bush meals, etc., or else too much sedentary truck time. Great job by our consultant and all at Original. Thank you."

What can you expect on Kenya honeymoons that you won't find anywhere else?


We know Kenya intimately, so for the perfect romantic bush and beach combination during your honeymoon in Kenya, ask us about the most romantic and relaxing lodges for the time of year that you're getting married. While Kenya is best known for the lodges and landscape of the Masai Mara and the two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle who migrate there annually, there are also other lodges in Meru National Park or the Laikipia region that might make a fine addendum to a Kenyan honeymoon itinerary, and offer a luxurious and romantic seclusion that is nigh on impossible to find in the Mara.

Elsewhere, the Lamu archipelago off the coast is a cluster of coral-fringed, car-free islands lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, and the perfect 'beach' compliment to the safaris of the interior.

We use the very best coastal properties and can arrange a huge variety of watersports from waterskiing and windsurfing to swimming with dolphins or snorkelling on the reefs. Or, of course, in preparation for the dreaded return to the real world, you could enjoy your honeymoon in Kenya by doing absolutely nothing.
